On this Life In Bama we are in Birmingham for the Saturday Market at Pepper Place. This visit to Pepper Place is the first we have made since the 2019 season because of the pandemic. It is great to be back to enjoy this event.
Not only are there venders offering many local products, there is also music from local musicians.
I enjoy listening to Debbie Bond and her collaborator Radiator Rick. A performance of hers as part the Birmingham Arts and Music Festival several years ago remains one of my favorites. I was director and editor of the recorded videos of the BAMM performances and had the opportunity to record them playing their set.
