I love car camping and here’s what I use for my affordable car camping setup!
- 5-inch camper foam pad that I found at Fred Meyer
- Covered with a fitted twin sheet for cleanliness
- I used a roll of double reflective insulation that I found at Lowe’s and cut out privacy shades for each of my windows. This was actually pretty easy to do. I labeled each of them to easily put them on the right windows.
This is what I did for a basic, affordable sleep setup.
Of course, when you’re car camping you can bring whatever you like (if it fits in or or your car!)
For extra comfort and coziness☺️
- sleeping bag
- extra blankets
- pillows
- string lights or lanterns
