Tim Weiner spoke at the Brennan Center on June 12 and gave a primer on the FBI's history and its slow evolution into America's primary counterterrorism agency. Weiner discussed his newest book Enemies: A History of the FBI. In the second part of his talk, he spoke about different presidents' relationships with the Bureau.
The Brennan Center invites speakers with a variety of viewpoints on a wide range of subjects in its events’ series. The views of the speakers are their own, and do not necessarily reflect the views of the Brennan Center.
