Do you like coffee and whiskey? Maybe a liqueur coffee? In this coffee tasting I'm intrigued to see what happens when you age coffee beans in bourbon whiskey barrels.
This is the first video in a regular series where I taste different artisan coffees from small-batch roasters. I start this coffee tasting series with a special double award-winning coffee from Dark Woods in West Yorkshire, UK.
It's a washed Ethiopian coffee from Yirgacheffe, that is "aged" in a Bourbon barrel for a couple of weeks before roasting.
I'll prepare two coffees; an espresso and a flat white.
