A short clip, attributed to Ukraine's 93rd Mechanized Brigade, appears to show a first-person-view (FPV) kamikaze drone speeding towards a Russian tank at an unspecified location along the front line. The drone crashed into the tank, another drone in the air recorded the explosion that destroyed the tank.

The Defense Ministry in Kyiv stated on Wednesday that "occupiers made a 'turtle' tank but forgot to close a hatch," while also stating that Ukrainian drone operators "don't forgive such mistakes."

Videos that have been circulating online for a whole suggest that Russia is enclosing its tanks with metal constructions that resemble shells to try and shield them from Ukrainian FPV kamikaze drones that target tanks and other armored vehicles near the front lines. The term "turtle tanks," which has been mocked by open-source intelligence reports, has been applied to the vehicles with the protective cage.
