Norman M. Rich, MD, FACS, DMCC, is a renowned vascular surgeon and retired Army colonel who was the first fellow in vascular surgery at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and served as the chair of the Department of Surgery at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences from 1977-2002. The presentation was delivered by Eric A. Elster, MD, FACS, at the American College of Surgeons 2017 Clinical Congress.
