The Lazio region reported on its Facebook page that 40 nuns at the Institute of Daughters of St Camillo, in the hill town of Grottaferrata, have tested positive for COVID-19.
One of the nuns has been hospitalized.
Meanwhile 19 of the 21 nuns in the convent of the Congregation of Angelic Sisters, also on the outskirts of Rome, have also the coronavirus infection.

For some, especially older adults and people with existing health problems, it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia.

According to the World Health Organization, people with mild illness recover in about two weeks, while those with more severe illness may take three to six weeks to recover.
