There are techically 5 biomes in the Nether: the first nether biome is the wasteland, then Crimson Forest Warped Forest Basalt Delta and Soul Sand Valley. Grab an elytra and fireworks or build bridges and hope for the best.
Take aim at the new Bastion inhabited by Piglins. Trade with them but be careful as mining gold will make them thirst for blood!
