The Sternoclavicular joint is where the clavicle meets the manubrium of the sternum. This important joint works hand in hand with the shoulder joint (glenohumeral joint). When the sternoclavicular joint loses any motion in any of the different planes, it can directly affect the shoulder joints biomechanics, causing pain and dysfunction.
