Bob reviews his top ten favorite features on the Getac B300 Rugged Laptop. Starting with number ten on this countdown is that the Getac B300 is fully rugged. This laptop can handle whatever you can throw at it. Number nine is the industrial look of this laptop which makes it look like a tank. This makes the B300 look the part of a fully rugged laptop. The eighth feature is that this Getac only weighs 8.59 pounds which ends up being lighter than the Panasonic Toughbook CF-31. The seventh best feature on the B300 is that there is a blackout feature engineered for things like a police officer working a speed trap. The blackout feature prevents the screen from coming on. Closing out the top five on this countdown is the IP rating of the B300. This Getac is rated at an IP65. The fourth best feature is how the B300 has two RS-232. Closing out the top three best features on the B300 is that the screen has 1400 nits. This makes the B300 nice to use outside in direct light. The second best feature is that the screen can be set up to allow you to see it with night vision goggles. The best feature of the Getac B300 is that the dual battery in it can offer up to 30 hours of battery life if both batteries are being used.
