The roar of pipes and drums and a sea of saltires took over the Big Apple as thousands gathered for the annual Tartan Day Parade.
It's a celebration of Scottish heritage and culture and was led by Inverness actor Karen Gillan. Our reporter Laura Alderman was in the thick of it and sent back this report.
