전국 대부분 폭염 특보
It's going to be another very hot day. Heatwave advisories have been upgraded to warnings in some parts with daily highs expected to be over 30 degrees in most parts.
Seoul will get up to 32 degrees Celsius while Gwangju will see a high of 34 degrees and Daegu will top out at 36 degrees Celsius under mostly sunny skies.
We'll have to deal with strong sunshine which will boost the UV rays and ozone levels in the afternoon while the discomfort index will also be very high in the afternoon. Be sure to drink plenty of water and it's best if you avoid outdoor activity between 11 am and 3 pm.
Monsoon season is nearing an end and most regions will have last round of monsoon showers this weekend then we'll have to bear with the ongoing heatwave with the summer vacation season kicking off.
With that in mind, let's take a look at the international weather for viewers around the world.
While sizzling heat is in store for most regions in South Korea,... many regions in North Korea will have relatively cooler highs under partly sunny skies.
As for major cities in Asia, weather conditions in New Delhi will be similar to here in Seoul with a high of 33 degrees Celsius.
Meanwhile, those in Perth will be under cloudy skies while Sydney will be partly sunny with highs of 18 degrees Celsius.
Heading to North America, Washington DC will again have a high getting up to 35 degrees under partly sunny skies.
As for South America, Bogota will finally have some sun while Santiago will be showery on Thursday.
Taking you to Europe, those in Madrid will be baked under strong sun and heat with a high of 40 degrees.
Lastly to Africa, major cities on the continent will have sunny skies except Addis Ababa.
