Brits have been making the most of the Beast from the East and Storm Emma by responding with humour. Hilarious clips show scantily-clad men sunbathing and mowing the lawn in the snow. Steven Smith, from Chryston, North Lanarkshire, ended up mowing his snow covered lawn after his wife Kerry told him: 'Beast of the East? Wit beast?? Stevie's only day aff he's no getting away way no cutting the grass.' In Glasgow Gary and Sam Docherty decided the red severe weather warning meant nothing and decided to go sunbathing - complete with cans of beer. And for one brave student in Canterbury, Kent, a snow-covered road was the perfect place to slide down in just his boxer shorts.
