Buying an NVMe SSD from a third party will help you save money on Storage.
This Crucial SSD not only added 1TB but also is pretty fast. Speeds can reach 2500mbps. I edited from this external SSD and even uploaded this video as well with very little noticeable performance drop. I can also use this storage with my MacBook Pro.
