Hi! I wanted to give you more tips but my footages were too short, so I'm going to write here a few more.
1. Relationship is everything (Especially if you are considering working in Korea). Even if you are shy, try to be outgoing and sociable. Fashion world is too small, so if you get to know just a few persons working there, you can meet everyone through parties and fashion week.
2. Study. Studying other languages would make your wage double Especially Chinese here in Korea. When you decide which department you want to work, study what you need. Marketing? Sales? Writing?
3. Experience. Studying can't beat experience, so even if they don't give you even one dollor, volunteer to work for somebody. Or you can start your own business. (I worked for a foreign designer and didn't get paid anything.)
