In May a video surfaced of hip-hop legend, Snoop Dogg holding up a huge plaque while welcoming former Death Row artist, Danny Boy back to the stable. Danny Boy joined Death Row Records during the height of the labels peak as a teenager. Unfortunately, the label faltered before he could release any music with the exception of a few features, most noticeably, singing the hook on 2Pac’s “I Ain’t Mad at Cha,” off his multi-platinum album, “All Eyez On Me” in 1996. Recently, Danny Boy was extended an olive branch from Tha Doggfather, paving the way for him to release his first single, “So High.” The Chicago native calls this second opportunity a dream come true. The VIP Crew caught up with “DB” to discuss his Death Row Records reunion, and much more.
