Around two dozen cases of botulism popped up after a church potluck in Ohio, and investigators are looking at what may have caused an outbreak that's already claimed the life of a 54-year-old woman.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), foodborne botulism is one of five forms of the disease. An average of 145 cases appear in the US every year.
