Minsara Kanavu is a 1997 Tamil film written and directed by Rajiv Menon. Minsara Kanavu songs are composed by A.R.Rahman. Minsara Kanavu stars Arvind Swamy, Prabhu Deva and Kajol in the lead roles while Girish Karnad, S.P.Balasubrahmanyam and Nassar play other pivotal roles.

Arvind Swamy is in love with Kajol who wants to be a nun. So he takes the help of Prabhu Deva, who has the ability to make people change their minds. So he follows Kajol hoping to make her change her mind about becoming a nun. Prabhu Deva and Kajol become friends. Eventually Kajol falls in love with Prabhu Deva instead of Arvind Swamy.

Arvind Swamy realises Kajol's love for Prabhu Deva and convinces her out of celibacy and marry Deva. Arvind Swamy eventually becomes a priest leading a life of celibacy.
