In this video we discover the reason for low output as well as no output as well as the way to remedy the problem. As we know the Rhodes Piano uses Alnico magnets inside the pickups, and they can actually demagnetize for various reasons such as being too close to a powerful transformer or other things like opposite pole magnets being too close, age, abuse etc.
The only way to repair them is to re-magnetize them. Unfortunately without a proper magnetizer you cannot do this. Vintage Vibe manufactures all Rhodes parts including pickups.
