Materials Needed:
TA7642 AM radio integrated circuit
An AM antenna or a long wire
Speaker
Lithium battery or 9V battery
Soldering iron and solder
PCB or prototype board
Potentiometer (optional)
Headphone jack (optional)
Rotary knob for tuning radio stations (optional)
Steps:
In the first step, properly connect the TA7642 integrated circuit. Check the connections from the datasheet or your project's schematic.
Connect the antenna or long wire to the antenna pin of the integrated circuit. This will help you receive radio waves.
Connect the speaker or headphone jack to the audio output of the integrated circuit.
Power up your radio by connecting the battery or power source.
Now, you can use the rotary knob (if available) to tune in to radio stations.
Adjust your antenna for better signal reception. Once you've captured a good signal, you can start listening to your favorite radio stations.
By the end of this simple project, you'll have created your own AM radio. I hope this video helps you and inspires those interested in radio construction.
