The Monetary Authority of Singapore is injecting S$5 million into financing a net-zero future. The Asia Climate Solutions Design Grant will go towards early-stage sustainability projects. It's hoped that such projects will nudge Singapore closer to its climate goals. Speaking at a conference about climate action financing, MAS chief Ravi Menon said the world is behind on reducing emissions. Meanwhile, Senior Minister Tharman Shanmugaratnam said there is no lack of money in global capital markets to fund sustainability projects.
