What is retaliation? | Zuckerman Law | Eric Bachman | [ Ссылка ] | [ Ссылка ] | (202) 769-1681 | (202) 262-8959
Retaliation is, unfortunately, an all too common phenomenon at work. What this means is that an employee has either asserted a charge of discrimination at work, or helped somebody else complain about discrimination at work. Then the employer turns around and retaliates against that employee by, for example, firing them, reducing their pay, denying them a promotion. Federal law makes it very clear that this type of retaliatory behavior is not acceptable and that it's illegal. If it's something that you've experienced at work, it's important to get legal advice on that claim as quickly as possible.
