Thousands were evacuated in the Philippines on Nov 11, as the country prepared for its third typhoon -- Vamco, or known locally as Ulysses -- in as many weeks. The region is still reeling from typhoons Molave and Goni, which killed dozens of people and left thousands others homeless.
