OOGEE WAWA actually is Zulu for "cheers," which is very fitting for their happy and upbeat personalities (and music!). An alternative rock reggae band from Long Island, OOGEE WAWA is one of the most fun bands out there. The band even joked that they never get boo'ed off stage, but instead the crowd gets "boo-zed" by the the time their set is over!
Having show experience with Sublime With Rome, 311, and The Wailers, OOGEE WAWA can be seen on tour all throughout the year or at one-off festivals. Their purpose? "[We are] dedicated to creating feel good music that inspires the desire to party!"
