Inoshiro Serizawa and his best friend Kenji are part of a team of science students documenting the effects of radioactivity on the environment after the nuclear bombs were dropped over Hiroshima and Nagasaki in the end of the second world war. And over the months, they noticed something strange. The radiation in the region around both cities had dropped unnormally fast. Then they were attacked by an unknown creature lurking in the ruins...

It was only the beginning of the events that will change the world forever.
