I wanted the word “Tenerife” right in the middle of the screen over the water. But I also wanted the text to track the surface of the water and to have the wave come across the screen and sweep the text away.
I’m just starting out when it comes to DaVinci Resolve and I just decided to give it a go and learn by trial and error. I did watch a couple of tutorials on YouTube first which were super helpful – but I couldn’t find any that specifically covered what I wanted to do – so I thought I'd make a quick tutorial to show you how I did it.
