Gigantism & Acromegaly | Growth Hormone, Signs & Symptoms, Diagnosis, Treatment
Gigantism and acromegaly are two medical conditions caused by high levels of growth hormone. Gigantism is a condition involving abnormally tall stature, which occurs prior to growth plate closure, whereas acromegaly occurs during adulthood when older patients are exposed to high levels of growth hormone.
