We explore cast iron skillet seasoning with grapeseed oil vs flaxseed oil - two of the most popular oils for cast iron skillet seasoning. I will use grapeseed oil to season a Staub cast iron pan and flaxseed oil to season an Artisanal skillet. By the end of the video you will see the final verdict on how seasoning a cast iron skillet with flaxseed oil looks compared to seasoning a cast iron skillet with grapeseed oil as I perform the all-important “egg test”!.
