In this episode we monitor the Monaro grassland earless dragon, as part of the #savingourspecies project on the species.
Take the highway from the ACT to Ngarigo country around Cooma and you will find the Monaro Grassland Earless Dragon, Tympanocryptis osbornei. Like its Canberra cousin, it is becoming increasingly affected by the change in climate. Scientists are now hoping to target management at key sites on the Monaro to give the dragons the best chance to persist into the future.
