Stock Market Closing Bell: The 30-S&P BSE Sensex jumped 600 points or 0.78 per cent to close in green territory above 80k mark. The Nifty 50 index surged 190 points to settle at 24,511. Top 4 gainers of BSE Sensex during the session were IT companies including Tata Consultancy Services (+6.61%), Infosys (+3.41%), HCL Tech (+3.34%), and Tech Mahindra (+3.07%). Nifty IT jumped 4.53% to close at 39,023. The index touched the high of 39,237. Broader indices underperformed benchmark indices on Friday's session. Nifty Midcap 100 gained 0.04% to settle at 57,173. Nifty Smallcap gained 0.16% to close in the positive territory at 18,949.
