Mykonos Vlog 2022, staying at 100% Vegan 5* Hotel Koukoumi!
What brought me to Mykonos in particular was Koukoumi Hotel, the first 100% vegan hotel in Greece (from the food to the furniture, spa and toiletries!) It was such a treat to not have to worry about any of this, and to not feel out of place. Me & Ben visited in May, so just out of season which meant the hotel was extra peaceful and we had the pool to ourself most days! I honestly can't recommend Koukoumi enough. If you are looking for somewhere to stay and relax whilst enjoying five star food and service - this is the place for you!
As it was the hotel that drew me there, I went quite blindly into Mykonos and did not realise how expensive or commercial it is! Most sun beds were 50 euro per person, and that cocktail I was sipping on Kalo Livadi Beach was 25 euro!! One hot spot was 100 euro per person to book a table. Don't even get me started on the taxis....
Mykonos is a special place to visit to experience Koukoumi, the town or the night life. Other than that there are far more beautiful, traditional and less windy Greek Islands to see that won't cost such an extortionate amount.
