The fatphobia in the Harry Potter books is extreme and has not been addressed in the ways it should have been.

I was honestly planning to just jump right to a discussion of how JK Rowling's fatphobia is connected to her transphobia, but then I had to actually look at the books again. And I couldn't go forward without saying this first.
