Phillip Brown was a variety producer, compere and actor. He organised various bands through his role as a piano salesman, and his Dominoes began performing on the BBC's Midland regional stations from 1927 until the mid 1930s. A group under his name had a tryout at HMV in 1928 but all the sides were rejected, so this is likely the only surviving recording by this band that we know of so far.
