How do you make a video that's not boring? Anyone can start a camera, but most videos posted by entrepreneurs show nothing but a talking head - and how long does that keep your attention? Not so long. In this video I will give you some sage advice. And the people here are already doing this. Because they are learning how to film and edit with their smartphones today, and you will soon know exactly what to do for a non-boring video, too.

One shot of a talking head. That's what you see all the time on Instagram. And that's what you'll stop watching after only 15 seconds. That's not good marketing. And, its is easy to make a video more engaging then that.
Here's how it works: the next time you shoot a video, look around you. Can you take additional shots of something near you? Maybe a student, or the coffee, or a beautiful view. 3 extra shots are enough.
You add those to your shots, in an editing app on your phone or computer, and there you have it: your video is varied and engaging. Because your viewer sees different shots. A talking head isn't that much fun, no matter how pretty you are.
This is exactly why in my videos you sometimes see me peeling apples, or putting together a selfie stick, or you see details of what I'm talking about. You know what they say: keep the eyes moving. It's not hard. And you'll get a lot more fans and followers because of it.
You can also add photos instead of video and you can use any app or program to add those extra shots, Inshot, Kinemaster, iMovie, CapCut, you name it, in the comments below this video I share links to videos where I explain how to go about it.
So get to work: take extra shots, and paste them, in this video I explain how to do that with InShot, they are using it here today.

The value of editing videos to make your video diverse cannot be overemphasized. Here are some key reasons why video editing is essential to making your video attractive and engaging:
1. Visual appeal: Using additional shots and editing can increase the visual appeal of your video. Creating variety in your shots prevents your viewers from getting bored and increases the likelihood that they will watch your video to the end.
2. Rhythm and pace: Video editing allows you to set the rhythm and pace of your story. By using fast and slower shots, transitions and movement effects, you can influence the emotional impact and tension of your video. You can speed up the pace to build tension or slow it down for dramatic effects. This helps create an immersive viewing experience and holds your audience's attention.
3. Clarify information: Editing additional shots can help clarify information in your video.
4. Emotional impact: Montage plays a crucial role in conveying emotion in a video. Using different shots, transitions and music can enhance the mood and emotions.
5. Creative expression: Editing videos allows you to express your creative vision. You can experiment with different styles, effects and transitions to create a unique video that reflects your personality, brand or message. Combining various shots and editing elements allows you to put your own stamp on the video and stand out.
