Regent Street became a playground of style for Vogue Fashion's Night Out on Thursday, 8 September 2011.
A night when Regent Street retailers, together with other retailers, restaurants and bars from major international cities embraced late night shopping, culinary experiences and entertainment.
Over 40 of the Regent Street retailers, bars and restaurants, participated in the Vogue Fashion's Night Out this year and most of the shops remained open until 11pm offering customers a relaxed evening to enjoy the new collections from many of the Regent Street brands.
Shoppers received information via the Regent Street consumer website, regentstreetonline.com and together with fashions-night-out.vogue.co.uk/ design thjey organised their shopping itinerary for the night.
Participating flagship brands included Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Jaeger, Armani Exchange, Penhaligon's, Tommy Hilfiger, Kirk Originals, Omega, Ferrari, Calvin Klein, Karen Millen, COS, French Connection, Mango, The Organic Pharmacy and Oliver Sweeney.
Restaurants and bars such us Sketch in Conduit Street and The Living Room, belowzero restaurant + lounge and Aubaine in Heddon Street, one of Regent Street's Food Quarters, also embraced Vogue Fashion's Night Out by offering special promotions to their customers.
Armani Exchange played host to a DJ session, while US brand Anthropologie offered a 20% discount on all full-priced fashion and accessories. Molton Brown launched its newly refurbished Regent Street store. Penhaligon's held a 1920's inspired evening to launch its new fragrance, Juniper Sling, inspired by London Gin. The Organic Pharmacy indulged shoppers with a complimentary mini-manicure when purchasing the Gold or Silver Vogue approved shades.
Vogue Fashion's Night Out 2011 kicked off on 6 September in Russia. Spain followed on the 7 September, while Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Korea, Mexico, Portugal, UK, Brazil (São Paulo) and USA all chose 8 September for their events. Brazil will held a further event on 9 September in Rio de Janeiro. Taiwan and India join in on 10 September, with China on the 11 September, culminating in Greece and Turkey on 15 September.
