(May 23/2024): CN L583 blows by the Carew diamond on its way back to London after working Paris for the afternoon. The power was rather decent with 2 CN zebra stripes sandwiching a regular GP9 positioned 2nd. The Carew diamond is another popular railfan place just 1 mile from Woodstock where the CN Dundas Sub & OSR Railway meet one another. The diamond used to have a joint and created an epic sound whenever a train would fly by, but not too long ago the maintenance crew decided to get rid of it.
