During my recent holiday in the Republic Of Ireland, on my journey from near Killarney to Limerick, I went to visit Blennerville Windmill at Tralee which is where the Kerry Model Railway is based.
The Kerry Model Railway features many model railways including an elevated large-scale train set running along the main room, which features two well-tank engines and Thomas the Tank Engine pulling Clarabel (Annie being on display in the middle of one of the train sets). Also, there's a mural and old photos of the former Tralee and Dingle Light Railway on display.
Lastly, before I left the Kerry Model Railway, I went across the road to see the remains of the former Blennerville Steam Railway, which its tracks are still in place, alas lost in a sea of weeds.
