We've gotten lots of feedback from viewers asking what happens if you shoot steel targets that aren't rated for shooting with centerfire rounds. Well, we wanted to show you guys!
*** The steel plate in this video is A36 steel and the 5.56 round is a 55 grain Federal XM193 ball. ***
NOTE: Even some AR500 steel (Abrasion Resistant with a 500 on the Brinell scale) isn't exactly true AR500, so caution should always be used with shooting steel targets.
