Please watch in preparation for your swim test.
To perform a feet first surface dive:
1) From the surface, push yourself up from the water with your arms.
2) Keep your legs together and still.
3) Push your arms up and over your head.
4) Repeat step 3 if necessary!
5) Once you reach the bottom of the pool, bend over and pick up the brick.
6) Push yourself up from the bottom of the pool with your legs.
To tread water:
Kick your legs in a frog like motion continuously. The best kick to use is the kick from the breast stroke.
