After several years of preparation, the Sassanid Empire invaded the East Roman Empire. Advancing through several territories without resistance, the Romans finally counter attack. This is the first real contact between the two armies.

Replays in Total War are not exact. The movements are all more or less the same, but the final numbers come out a little different. The screen shot at the end shows the victory with the final casualty list.
