In Part 2 of the Psoriasis and the Feet series, attention is given to the significant skin plaques and pustules on both feet. She also has this issue on her hands, scalp, and face. They can be quite itchy and irritating. A sharp instrument can cause small cuts which can lead to new plaques, a process called the Koebner Phenomenon. Fortunately, she is also under the care of a dermatologist who is treating her with topical medications. A big improvement is seen at the end of this visit, and she will return in 1 month for a follow-up.
