On this day in 2019, the Soaring: Fantastic Flight attraction opened in the Mediterranean Harbor area of Tokyo DisneySea. It features the film and ride mechanism from Soarin’ Around the World, but is themed after Renaissance-era flying machines. Guests tour the 1901 Museum of Fantastic Flight before boarding their Dream Flyer.
