On June 30, 2015, Dr. Robert Breunig retired as President at the Museum of Northern Arizona in Flagstaff. During his eleven-year tenure, Breunig focused the Museum’s efforts on its core mission to study, collect, preserve, and interpret the natural and cultural history and art of the Colorado Plateau. He led efforts to fund and construct the Museum’s award-winning Easton Collection Center, and is responsible for forging stronger ties between the Museum and the Hopi, Zuni, Navajo, Havasupai, and Latino communities. Breunig will discuss his experiences and lessons learned from working with diverse “source communities” on projects of mutual interest.
