I spent the weekend putting 400kms on a 1990 BMW E30 M3 Sport Evo.
The E30 BMW M3 Sport Evo is a high-performance version of the BMW E30 3 Series. It was produced by BMW Motorsport GmbH between 1985 and 1992. The Sport Evo was introduced in 1988 and was the final evolution of the E30 M3.
The Sport Evo was powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produced 238 horsepower and 177 lb-ft of torque. It had a top speed of 155 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6 seconds. The Sport Evo also had a modified suspension, larger brakes, and a lightweight body.
Only 600 examples of the Sport Evo were produced, making it one of the rarest and most sought-after E30 M3s. It was also one of the most successful racing cars of its era, winning numerous championships and races around the world.
Today, the E30 BMW M3 Sport Evo is considered a classic and highly collectible car. Its rarity, performance, and motorsport pedigree make it a prized possession among BMW enthusiasts.
