Monty Hall problem is a very counterintuitive puzzle that has deceived even professors of mathematics. Here I try to explain it in one minute. Check out my channel for other logic puzzles and mental math.
After watching this here is some food for thought. How below factor contribute to misleading our intuition:
- only empty gates are opened
- your first pick is never opened before option to switch, even if it's empty
- we tend to assign equal chances to available options by default.
