This is my mother's Hummel figurine collection that I have grown up with. Most of these Hummels are from the 1960's, 70's, and a few from the 1980's.
Hummel figurines were originally made by Goebel Manufacturing Co. in 1935, in Rodental, Germany. Goebel made all kinds of porcelain products and Franz Goebel bought the rights to make figurines from Sister Maria Innocentia Hummel, who was an artist who drew these children on post cards.
They are handcrafted and hand-painted. What I find unique about them are the
