Xerxes is more than a movie character, though.
Xerxes was real and was the king of Persia between 486 and 465 BCE.
He was a king focused on conquering new lands and expanding his kingdom.
In Western history, Xerxes is best known for his invasion of Greece in 480 BC, which ended in Persian defeat.
