They have lot of apprehension towards sex in the early pregnancy saying that it can lead to absorption it can lead to bleeding. Medically speaking sex in the early pregnancy is safe and not harmful, but conditions apply. Suppose the women has any high risk factors like previous history of abortions or history of cervical incompetence, it is a condition where the mouth of the uterus is not strong enough hold the conceptus or if she has a placenta previa, where the placenta is very low down in the women or of she has bleeding or spotting in the present pregnancy, they are the women who are asked to refrain from sex in the early part of the pregnancy or after pregnancy. But even otherwise in the early pregnancy if the woman has nausea, vomiting, tiredness, she feels squeezy. Because of the hormones her libido is low and she does not feel like it. Another threat is sexually transmitted diseases and suppose the woman wants to have sex she has to make sure that the partner does not carry any infections. If these criteria are met, sex in early pregnancy are quite safe.
