Auckland singer Laurence Larson, 28, is a star on the rise – in China.
After studying music and Mandarin at university, he brought the two together and now he is making it big in the world of C-Pop, with his music videos attracting millions of hits online.
Kea Kids News reporter Molly Tang, 10, of Wakaaranga Primary School, caught up with Laurence to hear him sing and learn about his success.
Laurence tells Molly he had “no idea” that he would make a name for himself in C-Pop.
