The heavy rain that has begun to plague central China has caused 754 reservoirs in the region to exceed their flood capacity. With a 130m increase in water levels from the Three Gorges Reservoir and recent heavy rains, water levels in the Yangtze River section in Hubei and small rivers in the province are expected to increase in the coming days.
